Our Puppy Placement Process
We believe bringing an English Mastiff home should be a transparent, professional, and straightforward experience for both the puppy and the new owner.
1. Learn About Our Program
Whether you discover Mastiff Kennel of America through our website, AKC, YouTube, social media, or another source, we encourage you to take the time to learn about our dogs, puppies, development program, health and veterinary protocols, feeding program, and placement process.
Our website contains the most current information about our available puppies and our program.
2. Choose Your Puppy & Apply
When you have decided which puppy you are interested in, complete our Puppy Questionnaire. Please identify your puppy by name or collar color so we know exactly who you are interested in.
Our questionnaire helps us learn about your household, experience, expectations, and plans for your Mastiff.
3. Reserve Your Puppy
Once your application and puppy selection are established, in-person visitation is scheduled using our Google Calendar.
If you are paying the full rehoming fee, you may visit us in-person first - then reserve your puppy remotely.
If you are using a payment plan, an in-person visit is required before the puppy is reserved.
4. Payment & Transportation
We offer several payment methods, including online card payments through our website, ACH, Cash App, and cash for appropriate in-person transactions.
Payment plans may be available when agreed upon in advance and must be completed in full before the puppy is released.
You may pick up your puppy from Mastiff Kennel of America or arrange an approved delivery or transportation option. Transportation costs are separate from the puppy's rehoming fee and are agreed upon before travel is scheduled.
5. Going Home
Our English Mastiff puppies are placed in carefully selected homes no earlier than 8 weeks of age, following our health, veterinary, development, and socialization protocols.
Before your puppy goes home, the rehoming fee must be paid in full and the pickup or delivery arrangements confirmed.
We maintain a straightforward process from the first inquiry through the day your Mastiff joins your family—and we encourage every prospective owner to become well informed before making that commitment.
On Sunday, July 26, 2026, we welcomed nine beautiful AKC English Mastiff puppies into the world. Every puppy arrived naturally, healthy, and surrounded by constant love and care here at Mastiff Kennel of America.
Our beloved dam, Lufly, a stunning 100% purebred Apricot Brindle English Mastiff, delivered all nine puppies naturally throughout the day while we remained by her side to assist whenever needed. From the very first puppy to the last, Lufly demonstrated exceptional instincts and has proven herself to be an attentive, gentle, and devoted mother.
Watching her confidently nurse, clean, comfort, and protect each puppy has been an incredible experience.
Inspired by one of our favorite stories about friendship, loyalty, and adventure, this litter is proudly known as The Toy Story Litter.

The Gang’s First Outstanding Week
From The Moment They Entered The World, This Litter Has Continued To Impress Us
Every puppy has been:
Nursing enthusiastically
Gaining strength daily
Sleeping peacefully between feedings
Vocalizing only when appropriate
Successfully urinating and defecating with stimulation from Mom
Closely monitored around the clock
Lufly has remained an exceptional mother throughout the process. She continues eating well, drinking plenty of water, willingly going outside for breaks, returning immediately to care for her puppies, and showing remarkable patience with every feeding.
Our other Mastiffs, Sergeant and Warin, have also adapted beautifully. Both have remained calm, respectful, and patient throughout the whelping process, allowing Lufly the quiet environment she deserves while continuing the peaceful atmosphere that defines our home.
Little Bo Peep was delivered in a breech presentation. As Lufly experienced a strong contraction, she naturally delivered her final puppy. During those first few moments, we assisted by ensuring Little Bo Peep's airway was clear, providing gentle stimulation to encourage strong breathing and circulation, and carefully monitoring both mom and puppy before stepping back as Lufly immediately began cleaning, stimulating, and bonding with her newborn exactly as nature intended.
At just 2 weeks and 6 days old, the Toy Story Litter is already showing remarkable development. With eyes open, emerging teeth, and the ability to walk and explore, these nine English Mastiff puppies are beginning to learn the mechanics of eating from bowls while continuing to nurse from Lufly.
This video captures one of their early supplemented meals using our transitional feeding blend, along with their developing ability to navigate the nursery, respond to scent and movement, interact with littermates, and explore different surfaces and surroundings.
It is an early glimpse into the intentional development and daily experiences that shape the Toy Story Litter before they ever leave Mastiff Kennel of America.
Raised Inside Our Home
Every Puppy Born At MKoA Is Raised As Part Of Our Family—Not In An Outdoor Kennel
Our puppies receive continuous supervision And individualized attention beginning the moment they are born.
For this litter, we are maintaining 24-hour observation to ensure every puppy receives immediate care whenever needed. Whether it's monitoring nursing, checking weights, changing bedding, or simply ensuring everyone is comfortable, someone is always nearby.
As they grow, they'll also begin participating in our early developmental program, including:
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
Daily handling and socialization
Exposure to normal household sights and sounds
Positive interactions with people of all ages
Individual temperament observations

Woody - First Born Male - Apricot with Brindling

Woody, the first born, began the miraculous show. Throughout his first week of life, He has consistently maintained good health and increased his mass to 2 pounds. Woody has been exceptionally vocal compared to most of his litter. We have awarded him with the title, "Most likely to whine".
Woody has reached his size and activity goals for this week, he is 2 & 3/4 pounds. Woody is a strong boy who challenges himself to explore further. He now also sings/hums while suckling.
During week 3, Woody has grown to 3 & 3/4 pounds. He has started to sit up like a little gentleman, observing his brothers/sisters, mom, and dad.
Woody is now 4 & 3/4 pounds. During outside playtime, Woody likes finding sticks that fit in his mouth to chew on, as well as taking naps in the families plant garden.
Woody has continued to blossom during his fifth week of life, reaching 5 pounds. His curiosity seems to grow right along with him, and he is becoming increasingly confident during his adventures outside the whelping area. Woody enjoys investigating anything new that catches his attention, often wandering off to see what he can discover before settling down for a well-earned nap. His once-famous whining has now been joined by plenty of playful personality, making him quite the little character.
Woody has reached 7 pounds as he enters his sixth week, and this little boy is becoming quite the explorer. He continues to show a strong, confident personality and loves exploring his surroundings, especially when there is something interesting to chew on. Woody is becoming more playful and interactive each day, spending more time engaging with his littermates before finding a comfortable place to relax. From the first-born "Most Likely to Whine" to one of the litter's little adventurers, Woody continues to keep us entertained as he grows.
Rex - Second Born Male - Apricot with Brindling

Rex, previously known as Mr. T. First earned his name from his chest marking appearing as a white "T". Throughout his first week of life, He has consistently maintained good health and remained one of the largest boys in the litter at 2 1/4 pounds. As Mr. T. Rex is always hungry for mamas milk. We have awarded him with the title, "Most likely to compete".
Rex has grown to 3 pounds this week, remaining one of our largest boys! Rex enjoys belly rubs and back scratches. He reacts by shaking on of his legs uncontrollably.
Rex throughout week 3 reached his weight of 4 pounds. He has long ears and chunky paws. Rex performs well with challenges presented to him, and shows plenty of interest in human interaction.
Week 4, Rex is now 5 pounds. He often races to be first when the litter is called for! Rex will volunteer to attempt something new to please his family.
Rex has officially entered his fifth week weighing in at 5 and 3/4 pounds. Mr. T. Rex continues to live up to his "Most Likely to Compete" title, frequently making sure he is among the first to investigate whatever is happening around him. Whether it is a new toy, a new place to explore, or simply an opportunity to be near his family, Rex is usually ready to volunteer. His confidence continues to stand out, and those chunky paws are beginning to give us a pretty good idea of the big boy he is going to become.
Week 6 has brought even more personality out of Rex, who now weighs 8 pounds. He remains one of the litter's most eager participants and seems to have decided that anything worth doing is worth being first to do. Rex continues to enjoy his favorite belly rubs and back scratches, although his famous little leg-shaking reaction still makes us laugh every time. With his long ears, oversized paws, and growing confidence, Mr. T. Rex is quickly turning into quite the handsome young gentleman—and he still isn't passing up an opportunity to compete.
Jessie - First Born Female - Apricot with Brindling

Jessie, the first born girl, has shown incredible strength. Throughout her first week of life, She has consistently maintained good health and remained one of the largest girls in the litter at 2 1/4 pounds. Jessie doesn't compete with the girls, she pushing the boys out of her way. We have awarded her with the title, "Most likely to trailblaze".
Jessie during week two reached 2 & 3/4 pounds! She was second to Bonnie with open her eyes for the first time, it's the cutest thing to watch. Jessie attempts sitting up on her own and walking across her litter to reach mama.
Jessie has reached 4 & 1/2 pounds this week and continues to live up to her "Most Likely to Trailblaze" title. She is becoming much steadier on her feet and spends her waking moments exploring anything within reach. Jessie has already learned that a human hand makes an excellent pillow, often settling against us after her little adventures. Her strength and determination are becoming more noticeable every day, giving us an early glimpse of the confident Mastiff she may become.
Jessie is now 4 & 1/2 pounds and becoming quite the little explorer. She has discovered that her family is almost as interesting as Mama, and she loves following our hands and voices when we interact with the litter. Jessie has also started investigating toys, although she seems to believe they are mostly obstacles that need to be climbed over! Her boldness continues to stand out, and she rarely seems concerned about being the first one to try something new.
Jessie has reached 5 & 1/2 pounds and her personality is really starting to shine. She has become much more playful, often pouncing on her littermates before wandering off to investigate something else. New sounds and activity around her rarely keep her down for long, and she quickly returns to exploring. Jessie is proving that our little trailblazer isn't just strong—she is curious, confident, and becoming increasingly comfortable in her world.
Jessie is now 9 pounds and has become one of the easiest puppies to recognize by personality alone. She loves being involved, whether that means wrestling with a sibling, investigating a toy, or following her family around during puppy time. She is developing the calm confidence we hope to see in our Mastiffs while still keeping that determined little streak that earned her the name "Most Likely to Trailblaze." At this rate, we may need to start calling her the boss lady!
Bonnie - Second Born Female - solid Apricot

Bonnie, the second born girl, loves all her siblings and mama. Throughout her first week of life, she has consistently maintained good health and size at 2 pounds. Bonnie is usually nestled at the bottom of the dog pile. We have awarded her with the title, "Most likely to make friends".
Bonnie is healthy and happy at 2 & 3/4 pounds. She opened her eyes first, followed by Jessie! Now Bonnie goes straight up to anybody to say hello.
Bonnie reached 4 & 1/4 pounds this week and continues to be one of the sweetest girls in the litter. After being our little cuddle bug at the bottom of the puppy pile, Bonnie is now becoming much more interested in the world around her. With her eyes open first, she has started following movement and voices, often making a beeline toward whoever comes over to visit. Her natural friendliness is already showing, and she seems to believe everyone she meets is a new friend.
Bonnie is now 4 & 3/4 pounds and has officially discovered that there is a whole world beyond her littermates and Mama. She loves attention from the family and is quick to investigate when someone comes to see the puppies. This week she also began experiencing more of the sights and sounds around the family, including our rabbits and tortoise. Bonnie approaches new experiences with a wonderfully curious attitude, and that little tail seems to start wagging whenever something—or someone—interesting comes along.
At 6 & 1/4 pounds, Bonnie is becoming a very social little girl. She enjoys following the family around during puppy time and has started showing more interest in toys, especially when someone is sitting nearby encouraging her to play. She is also becoming comfortable around our smaller animals, calmly watching the rabbits and tortoise as she takes in all the new sights and sounds around her. The puppy who once preferred the bottom of the pile now seems determined to make sure she doesn't miss a thing.
Bonnie has reached 8 pounds and is growing into quite the little personality. She continues to greet people with enthusiasm and loves being included in whatever the family is doing. Her confidence is growing alongside her curiosity, and she is becoming increasingly comfortable exploring different sounds, textures, toys, and the other animals around her. It is hard to believe this outgoing little girl was once happiest buried underneath her siblings—now she wants a front-row seat to everything!
Alien - Third Born Male - Fawn with Brindling

Alien "The Claw", one of the largest boys in the litter, has the appetite of 100 Little Green Men at Pizza Planet. Throughout his first week of life, he has consistently maintained good health and size at 2 1/4 pounds. Alien is usually first to wake and last to rest, in search of mamas milk. We have awarded him with the title, "Most likely to walk first".
Alien is 3 pounds, in great health, and suckling from mama consistently. He has shown good manners by leaving the nap pile to go pee and poo before returning.
Alien reached 4 & 1/4 pounds this week and is still one of the most determined boys when it comes to getting where he wants to go. His appetite hasn't slowed down, but his world is getting bigger now that he's learning to walk and explore. Alien has also become very interested in us, often following a hand or voice and giving little puppy kisses whenever he gets the chance. The "Claw" is starting to show us that underneath that enormous appetite is a very affectionate little boy.
Alien is now 5 pounds and becoming quite the little shadow. Whenever I'm nearby, he seems to find me, following along until he can get close enough to give me a few puppy licks. The puppies are becoming much more aware of their surroundings at this age, and Alien's confidence and interest in people are especially noticeable. He still has plenty of growing to do, but his affectionate nature is already becoming one of the things we love most about him.
At 6 & 3/4 pounds, Alien continues to be one of the boys who wants to be involved in everything. He is becoming more playful and adventurous, but still makes time to follow his favorite people around for attention and puppy kisses. During their growing exposure to the household, the puppies are also encountering our rabbits and tortoise, along with the everyday sights and sounds of family life. Alien takes it all in with a curious, confident attitude before inevitably wandering back to see what we're doing.
Alien has reached 9 pounds, and The Claw is becoming a very handsome, affectionate young Mastiff. His appetite is still impressive, but now he seems just as interested in following his people as he is in finding Mama. He has a calm confidence when exploring new surroundings and continues to seek out interaction with us, often arriving with a wagging tail and a face ready for kisses. At six weeks, we're starting to see the makings of a big, steady boy with a very soft spot for his family.
Buzz - Fourth Born Male - solid Apricot

Buzz, one of the largest boys in the litter, and wears the color of royalty. Throughout his first week of life, he has consistently maintained good health and size at 2 1/4 pounds. Buzz usually wiggles, worms, or rolls his way out of his collar. We have awarded him with the title, "Most likely to dress casual".
Buzz has remained a large boy, now reaching 3 pounds. His eyes appear to creak open sometimes, we cannot wait to welcome him and the rest of his siblings to the world.
Buzz reached 3 & 3/4 pounds this week and those little legs are finally starting to catch up with his ambitions. He has become surprisingly quick, often making a determined sprint toward whoever comes to visit. Buzz absolutely loves attention and will happily be scooped up for some one-on-one time, usually followed by a few enthusiastic puppy kisses. As the puppies begin transitioning into their BARF/raw-based supplemental diet alongside puppy food, Buzz is always ready to investigate anything that looks remotely edible.
Buzz is now 5 pounds and has gone from wiggling out of his collar to wiggling his entire body whenever someone gives him attention. He wants to be held, he wants to be involved, and lately he seems especially interested in being the first puppy to investigate whatever we're introducing. His confidence is growing quickly, and so is his speed—Buzz doesn't exactly walk toward you anymore; he sprints!
At 5 & 3/4 pounds, Buzz is becoming one of our most enthusiastic little learners. He seems to enjoy being given something new to figure out and will often rush forward as if he has already decided he's going to be first. He's also developing a real fondness for his people, happily accepting attention and kisses whenever he's picked up. Between training, exploring, new foods, and meeting the rabbits and tortoise, Buzz's days are becoming quite busy—and he wouldn't have it any other way.
Buzz has reached 8 pounds and continues to combine speed, confidence, and a serious love of attention. He is often eager to volunteer when we introduce a new exercise or activity, and that willingness to try is becoming a wonderful part of his personality. He enjoys his growing diet of raw ingredients, added nutrients, and puppy food just as enthusiastically as he enjoys everything else in life. The former collar escape artist has become a big, affectionate boy who still seems convinced that being first is the best place to be.
Hamm - fifth Born Male - solid fawn

Hamm, dads twin, enjoys singing while nursing. Throughout his first week of life, he has consistently maintained good health and weight at 2 pounds. Hamm will take a nap with both his human and doggy parents. We have awarded him with the title, "Most likely to steal your spot".
Hamm has kept up in size/weight with his littermates, he's 2 & 3/4 pounds. Hamm has been seen without his collar on than with this week! He has been seen walking away from his litter, going potty, and returning, eyes closed!
Hamm reached 3 & 3/4 pounds this week and is already showing more of Dad's personality along with his looks. He continues to be one of our calmer, more easygoing boys, happily settling in for a nap after exploring his surroundings. His little singing sessions while nursing have also continued, although we're not sure if Mama considers them music! As his legs become stronger, Hamm is starting to wander away from the litter on his own and confidently find his way back.
Hamm is now 4 & 3/4 pounds and has become quite the little gentleman. He remains remarkably level-headed for such a young puppy, taking new sights, sounds, and handling in stride. He loves being picked up by his family and, much like Buzz, usually responds with a face full of puppy kisses. More and more, we're seeing why we call him Dad's twin—not just in appearance, but in the calm, steady temperament he's beginning to show.
At 6 pounds, Hamm continues to be one of the sweetest and most balanced puppies in the litter. He's becoming more curious and playful while still maintaining that wonderfully calm nature we've noticed from the beginning. Hamm enjoys spending time with his people and is perfectly content to settle down beside us when the excitement is over. As the puppies experience new foods, toys, household sounds, and even our rabbits and tortoise, Hamm takes everything in with a quiet confidence that we absolutely love.
Slinky dog - sixth Born Male - apricot with Brindling

Slinky Dog, has shown high levels of tolerance towards human handling. Throughout his first week of life, he has consistently maintained good health and weight at 2 pounds. Slinky Dog is one of the quietest in the litter. We have awarded him with the title, "Most likely to be stoic".
Slinky Dog is gaining weight at a steady rate, now sitting at 2 & 3/4 pounds. Although his eyes did not open up during week two like some of his sisters, he consistently follows his nose to familiar scents.
Slinky Dog reached 4 pounds this week and continues to be one of the quieter puppies in the litter. His calm nature makes him wonderfully easy to handle, and he seems perfectly content being picked up, cuddled, and examined by his family. Now that his eyes are open, Slinky is becoming more interested in following his siblings around, and his play has become a little more enthusiastic—he enjoys getting right in the middle of the action with the other puppies.
Slinky Dog is now 4 & 3/4 pounds and his personality continues to be wonderfully laid-back. He has become more confident exploring outside the whelping area and loves following interesting scents around the yard. His play with his siblings can be a little more energetic than some of the others, but he is simply a sturdy boy who enjoys a good wrestling match before curling up for a nap. He's also beginning to experience short car rides, adding another new part of the world to his growing list of adventures.
At 6 pounds, Slinky Dog is proving that quiet doesn't mean timid. He remains calm and tolerant when handled, but once he's with his littermates, he has plenty of personality and isn't afraid to get involved in a good puppy wrestling session. He's becoming increasingly comfortable with new surroundings, household sounds, car rides, and meeting the other animals around the family. Slinky seems to take everything in at his own pace, quietly observing before deciding it's time to join in.
Slinky Dog has reached 8 pounds and continues to impress us with his calm, steady nature. He's now confidently walking up and down steps on his own, something that seemed like a very big adventure only a short time ago. He enjoys his car rides and is becoming increasingly comfortable experiencing new places and sounds. Around his siblings, he's still happy to play a little rough and tumble, but when it's time to settle down, Slinky is usually one of the first to find a comfortable spot—sometimes on his back, stretched out like he owns the bed!

Little Bo Peep, prefers nursing with her sisters. Throughout his first week of life, she has consistently maintained good health and weight at 2 pounds. Little Bo Peep is usually sleeping by herself. We have awarded her with the title, "Most likely to arrive to the party late".
Little Bo Peep, Week 2. Healthy and happy at 2 & 3/4 pounds. She enjoyed going to the front yard this week and feeling the sun under the shade.
Little Bo Peep reached 4 & 1/4 pounds this week and is becoming a little more interested in what everyone else is doing. She still enjoys her quiet moments, but we're seeing more curiosity during puppy playtime as she begins exploring on those growing legs. She especially enjoys being outside with the family, where the different smells, gentle sounds, and fresh air give her plenty to investigate. For a girl who once preferred arriving late, Bo Peep is starting to show up a little earlier!
Bo Peep is now 5 & 1/4 pounds and her size is beginning to catch up with her personality. She remains a sweet, easygoing girl who enjoys attention without needing to be the center of it. As the puppies become more mobile, Bo Peep is spending more time exploring with her siblings and experiencing new sights and sounds around the family. She's also been introduced to our rabbits and tortoise, taking a quiet interest in these much smaller members of the household.
At 6 & 3/4 pounds, Little Bo Peep is no longer quite so little! She is becoming more playful and curious every day, happily joining her siblings when something catches her attention. She's enjoying the growing variety of experiences around her, from new toys and household sounds to short car rides and outdoor exploration. Her sweet, laid-back temperament continues to shine, even as this once-independent sleeper starts becoming much more involved in the action.
Little Bo Peep has reached an impressive 10 pounds at six weeks, making "Little" Bo Peep seem less accurate by the day! Her growth has been remarkable, but her gentle personality hasn't changed. She enjoys being around her family, exploring with her siblings, and taking in all the new experiences puppyhood has to offer. She's becoming confident on her feet, including navigating steps, and continues to approach new sights, sounds, animals, and car rides with a calm curiosity. Our late arrival has certainly decided to stay for the whole party!
